Special Needs & Moving On projectsThe Special Needs and Moving On Projects provide resources and support for workers at the post office whose children have disabilities. The projects are available to members of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers and the Union of Postal Communications Employees (Public Service Alliance of Canada). The Special Needs Project is geared to families with young children; the Moving On Project is for adult sons and daughters with special needs. Gymn-eau's client base

Gymn-eau provides services geared to children between 3 and 15 years old who have learning difficulties.

Purpose of Gymn-eau

To promote Gymn-eau's expansion across Quebec by setting up satellite organizations and providing them with proper support and supervision. These various satellites are or are about to become charitable organizations.
Purpose of the satellite organizations (Laval, Repentigny and Montreal)
To offer recreational activities to children with learning difficulties to assist in their development.

Philosophy of the satellite organizations (Laval, Repentigny and Montreal)
All activities are based on the principles of non-competitiveness and effort appreciation. Respecting and implementing these principles allows children to develop their self-confidence and self-esteem.

Objectives of the satellite organizations (Laval, Repentigny and Montreal)
The main objective of Gymn-eau's programs is to allow children to experience success and fun through recreational activities that are geared to their needs.
